Friday the 13th Part III

Decided to get in one more Friday the 13th movie and this one reminded me why it's not high on my list in the series, though I liked portions of it, just nothing involving Shelly and watching it in 2D, the shots made for 3D are pretty annoying. I will say, I did like the lead actress and I'm a fan of the hockey mask Jason. **3.0/5**

This movie is so filled with fake-outs that you almost become numb to them. The entire first half of the movie is just trying to condition you to not take the horror seriously because it is most likely a prank or a misunderstanding. So when the action actually starts up, you feel almost disoriented when you see it. They didn't have Crazy Ralph in this movie as they did in the first two, so they have Abel instead, and he doesn't quite give off the same ominous vibe, just a crazy one. I do like that Jason is upping the stakes in this, and even though his looks are not really cohesive between scenes and between movies, I think we can overlook it and just enjoy the spectacle.

Still to this day, the entry with the creepiest looking Jason. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
