Because it has a Sound-Track, thought and composed as if they were simulating the stimuli that a deaf person can feel throughout his life, such as the touch of someone or the vibrations of a cup of water. Also, the way that it is made the animation and the camera angles, reflecting the feeling and the evolution of each character. Giving a unique impact because of the way it is well-thought-out. Making me love this film even more for these details, feeling a unique and nostalgic experience when watching it, leaving it definitely one of the best films on a personal level. I don't understand how this film hasn't won any Oscar.
