This is a very moving and memorable movie about a trans woman who was born in the wrong body and worked her way toward becoming her true self. While dealing with very sensitive and painful topics, the movie strikes a balance but mostly remaining upbeat and happy and focusses less on the pain that I can only imagine that this journey demands; although that is touched on as well. It is based on a true-life story of both the woman, who went on to win a beauty contest, and the doctor who treated her, going on to perform over 600 operations to help other women become their true selves. Definitely worth watching and very memorable.
