I only watched this movie after I heard that it was effectively "banned" by Germany. I am really glad I spent the time and money to see such a great film. It's an extremely effective and brutal reminder that we need to be aware of what our leaders and governments are importing to our shores. Dangerous people are being favoured over both our indigenous and European populations. We're tired of being ignored and it's time we start taking action.

Citizen Vigilante is easily one of Uwe Boll's strongest and most thought-provoking films. Powered by a solid performance from Armie Hammer, it follows an American expat who embarks on a violent crusade against criminals. Rather than offering easy answers, the film makes you question what happens when public faith in legal institutions completely collapses. The stylish visuals, dark humor, and willingness to tackle difficult themes keep it engaging, even if the graphic violence and political commentary won't be for everyone. Recommended for fans of 1970s vigilante cinema.

The fact that this movie was banned in various western countries means it touches a nerve with the people in power. When you get a lot of flack, it usually means you're over the target. And boy, is this movie over the target. It reminds me of the Charles Bronson Death Wish movies, but adds to it one of the most divisive yet important problem of the past decade(s) in western countries: uncontrolled migration and the rise of crime it brings with it. This movie in a sense feels good because it gives control back to the native Europeans who have been betrayed by their own politicians, murdered, raped and forced to be kept silent under the guise of compassion and descency. If you are atuned to the cultural problems tearing down Europe today and you have a revenge itch to scratch, this is the movie for you!
