Not unlike Monty Python's Flying Circus or The Benny Hill Show, The Kentucky Fried Movie, no actual relation to Kentucky or chicken, is an uneven collection of comedy skits, but being this is not for television it is sleazed up for one's viewing pleasure. Parodying much of 70s TV shows and movies, there are skits like the naughty Catholic High School Girls in Trouble promo reel, a blaxploitation parody, and the gem of the movie which is a kung-fu parody which takes up a good bit of the movie's running time. Like any comedy skit anthology the skits are uneven. Some are winners, some are flops. In retrospect they are perhaps more interesting in looking back on the 70s in a parody format. But the kung-fu parody is truly on target in what it parodies and the centerpiece of the movie. Alone I would give the kung-fu parody an 8/10 rating. Unfortunately some of the other skits drag down the whole of the movie, but it is worth it just to see the kung-fu bit. I give it 6/10 **Toxic Fletch**
