Paul May was born on 8 May 1909 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. He was a director and editor, known for Duel with Death (1959), Via Mala (1961) and The Saint and Her Fool (1935). He was married to Hertha von Walther, Annelies Reinhold and Ille Gotthelft. He died on 25 February 1976 in Taufkirchen, Bavaria, Germany.
